Biography
Tariq H. Malik is Professor of Management and Innovation at Liaoning University, Shenyang, and Founding Director of the International Center for Organization and Innovation Studies (ICOIS).
He holds a PhD from the University of London. His research examines how knowledge is created and exploited across levels of analysis — from research teams and firms to national innovation systems — with particular attention to R&D project duration, civil–military technology transfer, and the institutional conditions for sustainable industrial development.
His work has appeared in journals including Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and he writes regularly for the general press on Chinese innovation and regional development. He has received research awards from Liaoning province and from central government bodies in China.
