Biography
(CUPL). With a Ph.D. from Renmin University of China and postdoctoral
experience at China University of Political Science and Law, her
research focuses on policy studies, regional development, and urban-rural development in China. She has led projects funded by prominent institutions like the National Social Science Fund and the Ministry of
Education of China. Detailed Introduction Dr. Lifang Hu is an Associate Professor of Applied Economics at the Business School, China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL). She holds a Doctorate in Management from Renmin University of China, a joint doctorate from the University of Connecticut, and a postdoctoral
fellowship in economic law from China University of Political Science and Law. Dr. Hu is recognized as a top young talent at CUPL. Her
research primarily revolves around policy studies, regional development, and urban-rural development in China. She has hosted numerous
research projects funded by prestigious organizations, including the National Social Science Fund of China, the Ministry of
Education, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and the Industry and University Collaborative
Education Project of the Ministry of
Education. Dr. Hu has published
academic papers in renowned journals such as Applied Economics , International Food and Agriculture Management Review , Management World ,
Research on Economics and Management , Reform of Economic System , Management Review , and Rural Economy . Her work contributes significantly to understanding China’s economic reforms, regional policies, and development strategies.
