Biography
leader, serving as President of Shenyang University and a key figure in transnational
education and university governance in China. Link Professor Yanzhi Zhao, a Doctor in Economics and a certified CPA and CFA, is a prominent scholar and administrator in China. He currently serves as President of Shenyang University and holds several influential roles, including committee member of the Commission on Chinese-foreign Cooperation in
Education and Secretary-General of the Chinese-foreign Joint Institutes Committee. In addition, he is the Vice Chairman of the Shenyang Municipal Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Vice Chairman of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Agricultural and Industrial Party. His
research interests center on the organizational models and management structures of universities, the development strategies and policies of transnational
education, and the financial administration of private universities. Over his prolific
career, Professor Zhao has led more than 60
research projects and has published numerous high-quality articles and
academic monographs. Notably, one of his projects has received high-level recognition from Prime Minister Keqiang Li and Vice Prime Minister Liu Yandong. An alumnus of Dalian University of Technology (B.S.) and Northeast University of Finance and Economics (M.A. and Ph.D.), Professor Zhao’s contributions extend well beyond academia, influencing
educational policy and fostering international cooperation in higher
education.
