Biography Dr. Vasyl Taras is a Professor of International Business and Department Chair at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He is the Vice President-Administration of the Academy of International Business and the founder of the X-Culture Project. He holds a Ph.D. in International HR and International Business from the University of Calgary, Canada, and an M.P.A. in Political Economy from the University of Texas at Dallas, USA. His

research focuses on cross-cultural and global virtual teams and experiential approaches to international business

education and development. Dr. Taras is an Associate Editor for several top journals, including the International Journal of HRM , Journal of International Management , International Journal of Cross-Cultural Management , European Journal of International Management , and Cross-Cultural Strategic Management . He is also an

Editorial Board Member of Journal of International Business Studies , Academy of Management Review , and Journal of World Business . With

experience in academia, management, entrepreneurship, and consulting, Dr. Taras has lived, worked, and studied in over six countries.
